Lane Swimming Pool Regulations

• The swimming pool hours may be changed due to swim meets, special events, weather, or pool conditions.
• The baby pool will be closed during swim meets.
• The swimming pool may be closed early in the evening because of adverse weather or if there are ten (10) or less people at the pool. This is at the discretion of the Swim Club Manager.
• Swimmers may not be allowed in the water during thunder or electrical storms for fifteen (15) minutes after the last flash or upon discretion of the lifeguard.
• Adult Swim will normally be announced for the first fifteen (15) minutes of each hour when the pool is crowded. At this time, only responsible adult swimmers are allowed in the pool. Adults, however, may take children under the age of four (4) for a dip during these periods.
• STEPS MUST BE CLEAR DURING ADULT SWIM.
• No one is permitted in the swimming pool enclosure unless a lifeguard is on duty in the pool area.
• The protection of children in the baby pool is the responsibility of their parents and NOT the lifeguard.
• Use of the baby pool is restricted to children seven (7) years or younger. This will be strictly enforced.
• Children seven (7) years to seventeen (17) who have not passed the Lane Swim Club's safety swim test or who have not satisfied the Pool Manager with their swimming proficiency shall remain in the care of an adult while in the pool.
• Children ten (10) years of age or under are not permitted within the swimming pool grounds unless in the custody of a responsible adult.
