Lane Swim Meets
Dual Swim Meets – held at local summer swim clubs in Brandywine Hundred
- Lane Swim Club participates in the NBSL – Red division – http://www.nbslswim.org/
- All swimmers must attend at least 2 dual meets
- Swimmers age group is decided by their age as of June 1st.
- Volunteers are needed at EVERY swim meet – our LSC community needs to be very supportive in this dept. A variety of positions are available, signup sheets will be posted at front.
- Parents are responsible for their swimmer – it is an extremely busy, loud, FUN environment.
- Line Ups for meets will be posted 24 hours in advance – events are decided by coaches only. Everyone will swim at least 2 events (including relay). It can be a long time for your swimmer, bring cash for food, and entertainment to keep your child occupied.
- All swimmers must notify the coaches with an email/written note if they can NOT attend a swim meet. If your swimmer has an un-excused absence – meet privileges may be taken away for the following meet – will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Championships
- Each child is eligible for the NBSL Classic or NBSL Invitational meet. NBSL Classic is available for all swimmers whose times DO NOT qualify by the NBSL Invitational time standards.
